Privacy Policy

Solace · Last updated: June 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Solace ("Solace," "we," "us," or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information. Solace is operated by David Osipyan ("the operator"). If you have any questions, contact us at solacesupportco@gmail.com.

By creating an account and using Solace, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. What Solace Does

Solace is a cosmetic skincare app. It uses your selfie to generate a cosmetic, surface-level assessment of your skin and to suggest a skincare routine. Solace is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for a dermatologist or other healthcare professional.

2. Information We Collect

3. How Your Photos Are Used and Stored

When you take a scan, your photo is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which analyzes it to produce the cosmetic findings shown in the app. We also store your scan photos in a private storage area so you can revisit them in your progress timeline and compare your skin over time.

Your photos are stored privately and are accessible only to your own account. They are not sold, used for advertising, or shared with other users. Only you can view your own scan photos.

4. How We Use Your Information

5. Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party services to run Solace:

These providers process your information only to provide their services to us.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time directly within the app, from the Profile screen. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, your scan history, and your stored scan photos. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

7. Your Choices

8. Children's Privacy

Solace is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Solace after changes means you accept the updated policy.
